14 team ppr. Up to 2 player keeper if drafted after round 3.
I don’t have any stud keepers (Akers got hurt) so I’m looking at Brady (8th round) and Burrow (11th round) to shore up my QBs and concentrate and build possible stacks around each.
Smart?
We’re based in Michigan so I’d expect Brady to not be there in the 8th since we’re losing about 5-6 qbs based on keepers already.
Thanks.
So hard to say, and this is a question I have thought about in my dynasty leagues. In keeper, it’s harder because, depending on how many players you keep, he may not be a clear keeper at the end of the year. I like Henderson more this year but Williams more long term. I usually lean short term for these decisions because you never know what will happen, but I wouldn’t blame you if you took the swing on Williams long term.
10 team standard scoring league…1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te. I can keep 2. Barkley-for a 16th, k. murray-15th, kittle-11th, Jefferson-16th. Thoughts?
I feel like I rarely have shares of Kelce for that reason. I have him ranked at 13 overall in Half PPR right now, but that 13 number really depends on who else falls to that spot in drafts. Kelce is such a value because of what he produces from the TE position, but it is definitely hard to pull the trigger sometimes. This is one of the things I focus on when doing Mock Drafts using the Draft Wizard. I love seeing where Kelce goes.
If it’s dynasty or keeper, I’d probably rank them in the order you have them. If we’re just talking about this season, I’d go Henderson, Etienne, Jacobs.
Javonte Williams or Travis Etienne for the next 3 seasons? (Keepers league)
Great question. It’s hard to say what this Jacksonville offense is going to look like, and it seems unlikely that they run the ball the same that we see the Browns do with Chubb and Hunt. The other thing to consider is that this coaching staff inherited Robinson and drafted Etienne. If Etienne looks like he can handle a full workload, that’s probably where they’ll lean.
I’ve had Darrel Henderson ranked as high as RB15 in my rankings, I just have such a good feeling about him in that offense. Am I overvaluing him and do you think the Rams will bring in a vet to that RB room to add depth?
I have them very close but lean Etienne if I have to pick one
12 team redraft standard league. Keep J. Taylor in the 3rd or Ridley in 4th? Losing faith in JT with all the Colts injuries.
We keep entire roster. Weird, but cool. There are only 8 of us in this league so its pretty stacked!
I have,
Stafford
Tua
Fields
Mixon
Najee
Carson
Henderson
Moss
Carter
Kittle
Pitts
Fant
Ridley
D Johnson
Sutton
Aiyuk
Woods
Mooney
Bateman
Amon Ra St Brown
Randall Moore
There’s a lot of promise but I’m still middle of the pack. That’s why I’m thinking about sacrificing Henderson for the future. Does this give you any more thoughts or am I reaching?
I don’t have many concerns about Kamara other than the offense as a whole. But if anything, I think they lean more on Kamara and make him more of the focal point of the offense. Sean Payton is going to figure this out, at least to a point where they are a competent offense capable of moving the ball and putting up some points. So, I would keep Kamara at that price based on how much the other RBs will go for.
Thanks for the answer! Our bench is only 4 spots too so a lot of WW choices. What positions in the draft do you change up on?
Thanks Mike. I’ve been leaning towards Williams given clear RB1 for his team next year but think Etienne has a better upside especially in PPR.
I reckon Waller here, he’ll win you the position week after week and you’ve already got two solid RBs in Jones and Ekeler.
Yeah, I’d lean Brady at this point. It’s still VERY early, but Burrow sounds like he is struggling in camp and is still working his way back from that knee injury. In a 14 team league, I’d rather lean on the safer pick in Brady and build around that if you can.
Would you keep both?
Barkley and Jefferson is a great start if you’re able to keep both with late picks like that
I have him at 19 right now, but mostly because of the concern that he might not be the main guy. If they don’t bring in any competition, he could end the season as an RB1.
Probably not, no. I assume you have some better options, right?
