10 keepers for 2024, but moving to full dynasty roster in 2025
Starting positions are pretty standard (2 RB/2 WR) but we have 2 FLEX starters
I have 9th overall draft pick. My team finished 2nd place.
Current team is as follows, PPR rules, pass TDs 6 points
QBs: Herbert, Purdy, Geno Smith
RBs: Gibbs, J. Cook, Pacheco, E. Elliot, J. Mckinnon, Justice Hill, La’mical Perine, Keaton Mitchell, JK Dobbins, Evan Hull, Chase Brown
WRs: Jefferson, St. Brown, Calvin Ridley, Joshua Palmer, Romeo Doubs, Jalin Hyatt, Mike Williams
TEs: Jake Ferguson, Hockenson, Pat Friermuth
So about 6-7 keepers are no brainers (to me):
QB: Purdy
RB: Gibbs, Cook, Pacheco
WR: Jefferson, St. Brown
TE: Ferguson
After this, the remaining picks feel extremely dicey due to how many players’ values have been damaged by FA… it’s not a pleasant decision as of now.
One of my leagues transitioned from 10 keeper to dynasty this year and moved to Flea Flicker for off season trades on top. The move was no fun but is now set.
Also started a superflex.
I would go Hockenson, Doubs and Herbert if they draft a top rookie as expected.
Having to lock in my 10 dynasty keepers in this weekend. Here are 9 of the 10 I’m choosing:
QBs Purdy and Herbert
RBs GIbbs, Pacheco, James Cook
WRs Jefferson and St. Brown
TEs Ferguson and TJ Hock
How would you rank the following 3 players for that last keeper?
Chase Brown, Romeo Doubs, Calvin Ridley
Personally, that’s probably the order I have them in as of right now.
I guess the question is, does the news about Chase Brown getting the majority of first-team practice reps over Zack Moss upgrade him enough to warrant a keeper? I’d like to have a balanced 3 WRs and 3 RBs, but it’s hard to not keep a starting RB with a good PPR ceiling and an elite QB, even if Zack Moss is still there. 4 starting RBs would be nice to have. Is this a ledge I need talking down from?
