n the top 3 rounds I can see Javonte (injury) not being kept and Harris in the first.
Fournette in the 2nd.
I don’t see anyone in the 3rd.
I can be off in the 1st pending the rest of the season. I’m just not seeing giving up an older top player to replace with a 4th-5th round talent or rookie this year. A trade could work but I doubt getting a good value because of the cost od keeping for your trade partner.
I will likely not be keeping Dalvin Cook in the first round. Sure, he’s a good RB, but he is 27 (28 next year), and his stats have seen a noticeable decline in the last 2 years. He can still put up good games, and I might even take him in the first round next year, but I’d rather have a shot at a better player.
In the 5th round, AJ Dillon is gone, so I will have that pick anyway.
As for the maybes, Kyle Pitts: If the Falcons go into next season with Mariota as the starter again, I’m tossing Pitts. There isn’t enough volume with Mariota for Pitts to be an elite TE, and certainly not worth a 3rd rounder.
1 I traded Mixon for #2 Swift and have this pick back.
2 Cee Dee Lamb is a top young WR
2a D’Andre Swift is a top young RB
3 AJ Brown is a top young WR
4 Travis Etienne is a top young RB
5 Justin Herbert is a top youg QB
6 Dalton Schultz is a top 6 TE
The only thing I’d question among yours is Schultz at #6. Not sure he’s worth that. It’s borderline, especially considering that leaves you only one pick in the first 6 rounds. Considering you’re only 4-4, do you really want to go 6 rounds with only one pick?
It is a borderline dynasty league. The only thing missing is money!
I should add I’m not suggesting we charge for it yet, but maybe after one offseason, it’s an idea. Even a moderate $10 would be cool.
It is a borderline keeper league as well with a little redraft mixed in which was my intent.
I have played in a number of money leagues and won my fair share. However, this is a league decision after the season and am fairly sure 3 or 4 would be against it.
In redraft leagues, all you have to consider is a player’s ROS outlook.
In dynasty, you also have to observe a player’s value beyond this season.
This hybrid format adds a 3rd variable: the costs for keeping a player.
You could argue that all keeper leagues do that, but the fact that you can keep your entire starting lineup plus a backup player really adds some spice here.
So I’ve never been in a league where we’ve kept more than 2 players so this is definitely different. I need to do more research on how this works. If you keep the first 4 picks then do you not have a draft pick until round 5? Sorry. I’m really only familiar with redraft leagues.

Yes Damian it does mean that. Any player you keep will cost you the same round draft pick next year you took him with this year.
If you choose not to keep a player drafted you will get your pick back.
However, the new draft will be missing all of the league’s keepers and have nowhere near the same value.
