New Trade: Musgrave for a 2nd round pick

In one of my rebuilding dynasty teams (currently 2-5), I traded TE Luke Musgrave for a likely high 2nd round pick. I should add that TE’s in this league aren’t necessarily dominant, The starting positions are QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, WRT, WRT, and QWRT.

It looked like a good idea to me. Any thoughts?

Not gonna get any pats on the back here as a Packer fan, but no I thank you sold too early either way. As soon as they get someone in there to straighten out Love’s footwork… it’s on. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Thanks for reminding me of the other reason I traded Musgrave.

I’m not seeing this one as a value trade for what will be a 2nd year talented TE.

It’s not a matter of a talented TE. It’s a matter of I can get a more valuable position player. in the 2nd round.

Yes and in my view you cannot get a better value than a 2nd year talented TE for keeping or trading.

What is more valuable, a good TE on a bad team, or a good QB/RB/WR on a good team? Obviously, until I actually make the pick, it’s all rhetorical. But I prefer the risk here.

It is known as a difference of opinion and the reason why Las Vegas exists. LOL
