I am honestly on the fence with starting JA17 against the Jets. I have Caleb Williams against the Jags and I’m unsure if Flacco is even playing this week. My mind is so torn and I feel like it shouldn’t be. Thoughts?
I would take the shot with Caleb. Jets are a bad QB match up and have a new coach at home.
I would opt to start with Josh Allen. Even though the Jets have a tough defense, Allen’s rushing ability and consistent fantasy production make him a safer option.
He may be safer but it depends on how you play the game. I take my fair share of “calculated risks” and this has been very kind to me with many wins and titles.
However, playing safe has some benefits as well.
Sadly this particular league is very much a league of its own. The commish makes us have our final lineups in by Wednesday at 11pm. Went with Caleb but hey if JA17 proves me wrong, then the bills fan in me is happy.
That has to be the silliest rule I have ever heard in fantasy. Do you go to the waiver wire the week before? LOL
Best of Luck.
The guy has been running this same league for 20+ years. No waivers. You initially draft 21 players. QB, RB, WR(tight ends are considered WR), K, DL, LB and DB. There’s no limit to how many you can draft at each position. Almost each week of the season is a different position week. That means if it’s quarterback week when you turn your lineup in, you turned in one of each position and then an additional quarterback. The following week is running back week so for that you do two running backs and so on and so forth. There are three weeks in the season where all of your players score for you. So as I said, no waivers, but trades are still a thing. Then in the last week in October, everyone gets six supplemental picks. So we all get together and have another draft A lot of times guys use their supplemental pics as trade fodder so they don’t have to come out for that draft. The scoring itself is rather interesting as well.
Not seeing it. If I have an opening in one of my leagues I’ll let ya know.
