Haha, you read me like a book, man. I was indeed pondering between picking up Burks, moving him to IR and then take whatever D would be left on the waiver wire. Or pass on Burks and secure the Pats D, that not only looks good for this week, but has also a rather favorable ROS schedule.
At the end of the day, I was not convinced enough to see Burks as a definite keeper, despite his cheap round 15 keeper cost.
Bet you did not see my master move on TE coming, though. Picking up Daniel Bellinger as Goedert’s bye week replacement, right before his monster breakout performance against the Jags, was a strike of genius, if I may say so myself.
