Im playing in a league where the players treat QBs more similar to a standard PPR. Im drafting at the turn “12th” If 2 of the top 4 QBs are available. Should I go 2 QBs right at the top? Lets say Josh Allen, Kyler Murray, and Lamar Jackson are sitting there.
Nope.
RBs and WRs first, then start worrying about QBs in the 5th-6th.
What AxeElf said. If you’re drafting at the turn, it’ll be a long time till you see your 3rd pick, and most of the good RB’s will be gone. At least grab one solid RB.
As for who to take with your other pick, watch what the others do. For example, what if a lot of elite QB’s go off the board in the first round? That will leave some elite WR’s for you to snatch. On the other hand, you could see a bunch of elite WR’s taken, so you grab an elite QB. On the third hand (yes, we have three), what if you see a couple of elite RB’s drop through to the turn? Grab both of them.
It’s a martial arts strategy: Hit them where they aren’t protected.
