I am in a 6-keeper league. I was offered a Trey Benson, #1st round pick in 2024 and 4th in 2025 for Henry by the first place team. I am in 11th (of 12th) but only one game out of playoff. Should i liquidate henry now? He has been golden, but is 30. He isn’t going to do much for me this season - any thoughts. Was seeing about taking a run a Brooks as well - the owner is in the top tier of the league and he hasn’t played yet - so I assume he will jump at Henry (being $$ league).
IF it’s a top #1 it’s a fair deal as there are 2 WRs and 2 RBs with star potential.
Otherwise you wil not get much from Benson this year and 2025 is unsure.
I drafted Brooks in 5 leagues and could not wait for him to take the field.
Then came the beg contract for Chuba and a “likely” committee. NOT what I drafted. FWIW
Personally, I’m probably taking that trade because

Love Henry, but as good as Henry is, Lamar is always going to be the focal point of that offense. As good as the games were when Henry went off, the games where he was a non-factor due to gamescript cost me multiple leagues.

I’d say trading a player who’s only going to play another few seasons at most isn’t a bad idea if you’re in 11th

this rookie RB class is stacked, don’t know your other needs but assuming you would have 2 1st round picks, regardless of where they are, if you took 2 RBs, I’d be shocked if you didn’t get value out of at least 1 of them.
I’d probably wait until after NFL draft to see what happens with the rookie RBs though.
