Kyle Yates made the case for Etienne as a top-15 RB in 2021 in a recent article.
Not that you’re drafting him in the top-15, but, in his words:
If you can get Etienne on your roster as a RB3, you’re simply cheating.
What are your thoughts on the Jaguars’ rookie RB entering the season?
It’s difficult to predict, as everything around the Jags’ offense is new. Ideally, Etienne will carve out a role similar to Austin Ekeler’s with the Chargers. That could indeed give him top 15 upside, especially in PPR leagues.
I do think James Robinson take the bulk early on, he was good last year. It almost seems like Dobbins from a year ago, it was not till later in the season he finally got more touches. Could be the same with Etienne, with the exception that he will be catching balls right out of the gate. I love getting him as my flex in mock drafts (auction).
