Lots of rain and strong winds are forecast for tonight’s game. Good stuff for the RBs but would pass on playing anyone in the passing game.
According to Accuweather, the chance of precipitation is only 49%, with wind speeds up to 11 mph. I’d wait until closer to the game to see what it’s going to be, but right now I wouldn’t sit anyone in the passing game over this.
Forecast: 1-2 inches of rain Thursday night, 13-20 mph winds (gusts as high as 41 mph)
The National Weather Service is forecasting rain to begin in the early afternoon Thursday in East Rutherford and continue through the early afternoon on Friday. One to two inches of rain is forecast for the area Thursday night, though that includes the overnight period. The chance of rain is 100 percent.
More impactful than the heavy rain may be the wind. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds between 13 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph.
This is who the NFL uses and CBS had a guy from the Weather Channel saying the same. I have to go with the info from who two multi billion companies go with.,
The guys at Accu could be right though.
Trevor Lawrence was 20-31 for 229 yards, not td’s and no picks. He might have done that anyway, considering the Jets pass defense isn’t bad at all.
I’m not going to even consider Zach Wilson for a weather comparison, since he is so scattershot anyway.
