Sermon or Mitchell

Both Trey Sermon and Elijah Mitchell are available on our leagues waiver wire. Who is the better pickup?

Is it a redraft league or keeper/dynasty?

It is a ten team keeper league.

In redraft, it is Mitchell, all the way.

Sermon was a healthy scratch, which screams something behind the scenes is a problem. Healthy issues can be fixed in time, making the player more valuable in keeper/dynasty.

If you need an RB this season, then Mitchell is your guy. If you can wait, Sermon is your guy, but even that comes with some risk since we don’t know the details of why he got benched.

And Sermon’s on the waiver wire?

Is there an IQ cap on owners in this league?

12 team $100 FAB
How much do we spend on Mitchell?

Unless there are extenuating circumstances (like Mostert was your RB1 or something), I’d bid as high as $1.

We are still not sure why Trey was benched. Even if he plays, Eli may be the play here.

I can tell you I put in a $41 bid for Eli, and lost out to an owner who bid $100. I’m not sure he is worth that much, but be prepared to toss your FAB at him.

If you cash this year, you’ll have to share your winnings with this guy for helping to save your season.
