So whom do I pick up - Quez Watkins or Donovan Peoples-Jones?
Watkins has produced steadily all season so far, but seems to offer little upside, as long as Jalen Hurts remains his QB.
DPJ is on a hot streak, that could last or not. If not… well, his week 1-4 production speaks for itself.
I’d actually go with Quez here. He’s not great, but DPJ is limited by both the receivers ahead of him on the depth chart, and the team’s run-first mentality. .
Yeah, that was my thinking as well. Still went for DPJ in the end. Regardless of whom I picked, I’ll probably cut them anyway next week, when Tre’Quan Smith returns from IR.
If DPJ has another good game tomorrow (unlikely, now that pretty much the entire Browns offense has been ruled out), maybe I can trade him away for a small pick. Can rule that out for Quez, who has been on the waiver wire for 2 weeks now.
3 other owners made a bid for DPJ, so I have my potential trade targets already.
