It is looking like the courtship of Derek Carr by the Saints is taking hold:
As a Raider fan, I take almost the opposite approach with Carr. I want him to succeed somewhere else. Carr was loyal to the Raiders, and they betrayed him. I am actively rooting for Carr to succeed elsewhere, and New Orleans is a great landing spot for him. They need some offensive help, undoubtedly, but it is still a better overall team than the Raiders.
For owners of Carr in dynasty (count me among them), there is hope here. While I’m not crazy about Dennis Allen, the Saints have enough talent to make Carr look decent. This would be a good place for him.
