Should I start Josh Allen against NE #2 defense in very windy +/- snow weather orKirk Cousins @Det #13 defense.
I am tempted to play Kirk here although the ceiling is low.
A QB in wind and snow against NE? This sounds bad. Also consider Allen’s games against NE last season were polar opposites:
- (Nov. 1) 154 pass yards and 1 int, 23 rush yards, 1 rush td
- (Dec. 28) 320 pass yards and 4 td’s, 35 rush yards
On the other hand, Cousins was kind of flat earlier this year against Detroit, passing for only 275 yards, a td and a pick. But last year, he owned Detroit, with 3 td’s in each of his two games against them, with 405 yards and a rush td against them in their last January game.
I would have to take Cousins here for a higher floor and ceiling.
