Which one should I start for the majority this year? Only one or the other, pretty much. Gibson or Mixon? Which is better to start this year?
I think I’d look at their matchups before deciding. They are statistically close, although both can be shut down (at least we saw Mixon shut down by the Bears today, and Gibson hasn’t scored a td yet).
In PPR, I’d start Mixon any time he’s not injured.
Standard is a little closer, but at this juncture, still an edge to Mixon, but you might be able to swap him out for a favorable Gibson matchup or something.
