The only flaw in this trade? With the 1.06 pick, you could probably draft Brock Bowers, who might be better than both of them.
Tossing out that consideration, I’d rather be on the end of this trade receiving Laporta. But it’s fair, regardless.
I would prefer to be on the end of receiving Laporta especially if I didn’t have a suitable replacement for Kelce already.

I have never liked trading for a player at or above his ceiling. I see Laporta dropping off some.
Lions coaches have lived up to what they have said and say Gibbs will get more touches and targets. Jameson is getting rave reviews and has “special” talent.
Targets reduced for Laporta.
You can get a Brooks, Worthy, Thomas, etc at 1.06 and go after a TE like Ferguson or even Freiermoth and be MUCH better off. Just my view.
