I was offered Hopkins for Patterson...Thoughts?

I was offered D. Hopkins for Cordarrelle Patterson. Patterson is on a bye week, so benefit there.

Depends on your RB depth. Who do you have?

D. Cook and his backup Mattison. M Sanders (lame), and Mike Davis

Other WR’s are McLauren, J Chase, and AJ Brown.

So you have both Mike Davis and his backup Patterson, and you are giving up Patterson who has been the better RB. I don’t like it. WRs crop up well into mid-season with breakout potential and Hopkins, unlike last year, has a more crowded WR corps to not hog the target share with A.J. Green, Kirk, Rondale Moore all stealing targets plus Conner and Edmonds doing well as a tandem. I would not do it.

Patterson combined with Cook/Mattison? Sign me up for that combo! Forget WR’s!

I would take Hopkins for Patterson. I think Patterson’s range is Flex to RB2. Hopkins is high end WR2 to low end WR1. Pair Chase and Sanders and go get a legit RB2.
