Was a running back heavy strategy effective in 2020?

So I was reading Jeffrey Bell’s article, “Was a running back heavy strategy effective in 2020?”

Actually, NO position-specific strategy is ever effective. As Bell points out, if you got the right RB’s, then of course your strategy was effective. If you got the wrong ones, oops, you’re SOL.

The key to any draft is to take the best player available. Gil Brandt of the Cowboys mastered this strategy back in the 70’s, and it still works in fantasy football today.

Yes, we want RB’s, but we won’t take “whatever is left”.
