why are rankings not the same as projections …you have a 2022 ranking list but yet another list shows projections for 2022 and players are not ranked the same

Perhaps your expectations of consistency are set too high for such inexact necromancy.
Ranks are now. Projections are what and evaluator believes will happen, a player exceeding his rank or failing to get there. Many factors come into play and they are ever changing.
